Mercedes-Benz 9G-Tronic (725.0) Transmission Control Module Repair Service

Fast, Accurate, Trade-Focused Repairs

We specialise in diagnosing and repairing the 9G-Tronic Transmission Control Module (TCM), also known as the 725.0 TCM, fitted to a wide range of late-model Mercedes-Benz vehicles. These units are prone to a number of sensor and internal electronics failures which can leave a vehicle in limp mode, unable to shift correctly, or completely inoperative.

Our in-house test bench allows us to fully simulate vehicle conditions — checking every sensor, solenoid driver, and communication line without the need to reinstall the unit in a transmission. This ensures your repair is fast, accurate, and proven before it leaves our workshop.

Common Problems We Repair

No gear engagement – stuck in Park or Limp mode.

Harsh or erratic shifting – rough gear changes, hesitation, or slipping.

Loss of communication – scanner unable to connect to the TCM.

Park position sensor failure – incorrect gear position display or “P” not detected.
