This is a specialist repair service for DSG Mechatronic units used in DQ381, DQ380, and DQ500 transmissions.
This is for ONE sensor to be replaced if you want both sensors replaced we have a listing for this Also.
Common Fault Codes:

P173500 – Position Sensor for Clutch 1: Electrical Malfunction

P173600 – Position Sensor for Clutch 2: Electrical Malfunction
These are extremely common faults in these transmission control modules (TCMs).
Symptoms may include:

Jerky or harsh gear changes

Loss of one clutch operation (half of the gear ranges)

Limp mode or transmission warning lights
