Please remove the TCM from the Valve body.

We would charge Extra to remove this for you 

 

This is a specialist repair service for DSG Mechatronic units used in DQ381, DQ380, and DQ500 transmissions.

This is for BOTH sensors to be replaced if you want ONE sensors replaced we have a listing for this Also.

Common Fault Codes:

  • P173500 – Position Sensor for Clutch 1: Electrical Malfunction

  • P173600 – Position Sensor for Clutch 2: Electrical Malfunction

These are extremely common faults in these transmission control modules (TCMs).

Symptoms may include:

  • Jerky or harsh gear changes

  • Loss of one clutch operation (half of the gear ranges)

  • Limp mode or transmission warning lights

We’re able to bench test the unit before and after repair, ensuring full functionality and confirming the issue has been resolved.
