Mercedes E-Class W212 Headlight Repair – Amber Indicator Fault
This is a repair service for Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212 headlights with a non-functioning amber indicator (turn signal).
We carry out a full strip-down and component-level repair of the headlight assembly to restore proper indicator function. This includes diagnosing and replacing failed internal components affecting the amber turn signal circuit.
Please Note:
This is a comprehensive disassembly and rebuild of the headlight – not a quick external fix.
Note: This is a repair service – the complete headlight assembly must be sent to us for repair.
Headlight Repair Disclosure
Please note: All headlight repairs incur a minimum assessment fee of $500 + GST. This covers the cost of safely cutting open and assessing the headlight unit using a specialist plastic welding and sealing service.
This fee applies regardless of the repair outcome, including situations where:
-
No fault is found after full assessment
-
The unit is deemed beyond repair
-
The process of opening or assessing the headlight results in further damage
-
The customer decides not to proceed after the assessment
This fee is necessary due to the specialist tooling, time, and outsourced plastic work required to open, reseal, and restore these assemblies.
Disclaimer – Headlight & Tail Light Repairs
Please note: Headlights and tail lights are not designed by the manufacturer to be opened once assembled. While our team takes every possible precaution and uses specialist methods to carefully separate and reseal these units, there is always a risk of damage to the lens, housing, or clips during the process.
If a unit does break during disassembly, there may be no viable way to restore it to original condition. In such cases, we will advise you immediately, but we cannot accept liability for any damage that occurs as a result of necessary opening procedures.
Due to the additional time, skill, and equipment required, headlight repairs carry a higher minimum assessment fee to cover the work of our plastics specialist, including plastic welding, resealing, and reassembly.
By sending your headlight or tail light for repair, you acknowledge and accept these conditions.
