Signal Input Fault | No Start | ECU Pin Failure | Crank/Cam Sensor Circuit
This is a repair service for the ECU (Engine Control Unit) in 2000–2006 Nissan Pulsar models, targeting a common fault related to crankshaft or camshaft sensor signal loss. These faults are often traced back to failed or degraded ECU circuitry at key signal pins.
Common Symptoms Repaired:
Engine cranks but won’t start
DTCs for crankshaft position sensor or camshaft position sensor
No RPM signal detected during cranking
Replacing sensors and wiring has no effect
Signal loss at ECU pins 1, 75, 66, or 85
What We Do:
Inspect and repair signal input circuits for crank/cam sensors
Replace faulty transistors, resistors, or protection components
Repair or reconstruct damaged PCB tracks
Bench test with simulated sensor signals to ensure proper ECU response
Preserve all coding and immobiliser data
