Holden Cruze BCM – Common Failures & Repair Service
Modern Body Control Modules (BCMs) manage a huge number of electronic features in today’s vehicles — everything from lighting systems and security, to windows, door locks, interior illumination and more.
In the Holden Cruze, the BCM communicates with other modules across the vehicle’s CAN Bus network, meaning a fault here can create multiple electrical issues.
At Get Electronic, we’re seeing an increasing number of Cruze BCMs failing, often with symptoms such as brake lights or indicators not working, park lamps inoperative, or even the gear selector refusing to come out of Park. In many cases, the ignition key can also become stuck and won’t release.
