Mercedes 722.9 ISM Module Repair | Virginise, Clone & Bench Test
The Mercedes-Benz 722.9 (7G-Tronic) Intelligent Servo Module (ISM) controls gear selection logic and communication between the selector assembly and the transmission control system. Failures in this module can result in shift faults, selector recognition issues, limp mode operation, or no-start conditions related to gearbox communication.
At Get Electronic, we offer specialist ISM module services for trade customers including:
ISM Virginising (Reset Service) – Returns supported modules to a programmable state for adaptation or coding.
ISM Data Cloning – Transfers immobiliser and configuration data from the original module into a replacement unit (where supported).
Full Bench Testing – All modules are electrically and communication tested on the bench prior to return.
This service is ideal when fitting replacement ISM units or resolving intermittent selector and communication faults without unnecessary transmission replacement.
