International Customers:
When sending a unit from overseas, please declare it as “Repair and Return” with a low customs value (around $100 USD) to avoid unnecessary import fees. - All Repair Prices are quoted in NZD



Window Motor & Control Electronics Repair Service


This service covers the complete repair of automotive window motor systems, including both the mechanical motor drive and the control electronics that govern its function. Whether the fault lies in the motor itself or the circuit board that manages the operation, Get Electronic can restore your unit to working order.


Common Faults We Repair

  • Window fails to move up or down

  • Motor runs intermittently or with reduced power

  • Clicking, grinding, or dead spots in motor drive

  • Burnt or failed transistors, relays, or MOSFETs on control electronics

  • Blown fuses, thermal protection faults, or broken traces on PCB

  1. Initial Assessment (48-Hour Diagnostics)

    • Full inspection of motor and PCB

    • Bench-testing to simulate in-car operation

    • Report issued with repair scope and estimate

  2. Component-Level Repair

    • Replacement of faulty MOSFETs, drivers, relays, or capacitors

    • Rewinding or refurbishing motor windings if required

    • Cleaning & lubrication of mechanical components

    • Connector and solder joint reflow

  3. Final Verification

    • Full function test under load

    • Current draw monitoring to ensure motor efficiency

    • Stress testing for reliability before return
